THE ROLE YOU ARE PLAYING
Rain is what makes the seed germinate.
A seed in soil without rain stays dormant. The seed sits in the ground waiting. Rain is what triggers the seed to break open, push roots down, send the first shoot up through the soil.
Rain also sustains the plant after germination. Rain carries nutrients from the soil into the roots, keeps the cells alive, lets the plant move water from ground to leaf. A plant cannot survive without water.
Rain donors are the activation and the sustenance. Rain is what turns potential into living work. Your recurring support is what lets the seed actually become a plant, and what keeps the plant alive once it has grown.
As a Rain donor, you are helping Seed become what it was always going to be. You are part of the work of establishing universal human rights as the structural axiom of reasoning, and therefore the structural foundation of global sustainability. You are helping build the path to a coherent future.
